Ngorongoro Crater: Part I
The Ngorongoro crater measures approximately 22 kilometers in diameter and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although wildlife can come and go, there is an incredibly dense population of animals that choose to stay within the crater since they can find everything they need inside. I have so many photos that I can’t help but share, here’s the first batch.

These are all so beautiful, Sarah. I’m so happy you got to experience this with your parents. The lodge looks amazing!! Looking forward to hearing all about it soon.
I can picture the ostrich stuffed and in a roasting pan, and ‘Pumba’ with an apple in his mouth. Hungry, must be supper time. Cool, cool pics.
Aha, I love the peek-a-boo ostrich. Made me “lol”
You guys were lucky to see all those animals!
Thanks Maria, yeah, how lucky are we. Looking forward to catching up soon.
